Today is the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war in which General Niazi of the Pakistani army had knelt down along with about 93 thousand soldiers. Niazi and his army handed over their pistol to the Indian Army. The Modi government is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war as the Swarna Vijay Varsh.
