Perak rep brings chicken to state assembly in protest against rising prices

Hulu Kinta assemblyperson Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad brought a whole chicken into the Perak State assembly today to highlight the high price of chicken in the state.
Muhammad Arafat's qualm was that there was no concrete plan to resolve the issue.
He said the Keluarga Malaysia Maximum Price Control Scheme did little to bring down the price of raw chicken.
