A winning start for Barangay Ginebra in the Governors' Cup. Justine Brownlee and the Gin Kings tip off their title defense by staving off the Alaska Aces in a back and forth battle. Stanley Pringle and returning import Justine Brownlee came up clutch for the Kings who were still down by 4 in the final two minutes of the game. Ginebra took the victory 80-77.
