Recently, Pakistan won the series by defeating Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series on their soil. The biggest contribution to Pakistan's victory in this series has been the opener Abid Ali, whose bat spoke fiercely in this series and who was awarded the 'Man of the Match' title in the first match for his game. Ali managed to score a century in the first innings of the Chittagong Test on Bangladesh tour where he played a fine innings of 133 runs.
