With the emergence of the new Covid-19 Omicron variant, all the precautionary measures are being taken by the Punjab Government in the state, said Punjab Health Minister Om Parkash Soni on December 8. “There is no case of Omicron variant in the state. As per guidelines, testing is done at airports. All precautions are being taken. In areas with lower vaccination coverage, door-to-door vaccination is being conducted by health officials,” said Punjab Health Minister.
