CDS Bipin Rawat has died in a helicopter crash. Rawat was accompanied by 14 people including his wife Madhulika Singh. The country's first CDS Bipin Rawat's wife Madhulika Singh belonged to the Rewa royal family. Madhulika's father Mrigendra Singh was associated with the Congress. He was elected MLA twice from Sohagpur assembly seat in Shahdol district. Madhulika's mother was the daughter of Uttarkashi MLA Kishan Singh Parmar. Madhulika Rawat has two brothers Harshvardhan Singh and Yashvardhan Singh.

CDS बिपिन रावत का हेलिकॉप्टर क्रैश में निधन हो गया है.रावत के साथ हेलिकॉप्टर में उनकी पत्नी मधुलिका सिंह समेत 14 लोग भी सवार थे.देश के पहले सीडीएस बिपिन रावत की पत्नी मधुलिका सिंह का रीवा राज घराने से ताल्‍लुक था.मधुलिका के पिता मृग्रेद्र सिंह का कांग्रेस से जुड़ाव था.वे शहडोल जिले की सोहागपुर विधानसभा सीट से 2 बार विधायक निर्वाचित हुए थे.मधुलिका की मां उत्तरकाशी से विधायक रह चुके किशन सिंह परमार की बेटी थीं.मधुलिका रावत के दो भाई हर्षवर्धन सिंह और यशवर्धन सिंह हैं.
