SA to reinstate permanent youth mental health workers on APY Lands

The SA government has promised to reinstate permanent youth mental health workers on the APY Lands. A review by the Chief Psychiatrist has found kids in need are likely slipping through the cracks. Last month the ABC revealed services for the remote communities had been wound back with mental health staff only available on a fly-in fly-out basis or via telehealth.
