Air pollution continues to choke Delhi with the air quality index (AQI) remaining in the 'severe' category on Friday morning. The Delhi government decided on Thursday to keep schools shut until further orders.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court rapped the Centre and Delhi government on Thursday for inaction in regard to the pollution crisis. The court gave a 24-hour ultimatum to act against industrial and vehicular pollution and will hear the governments' plan of action at 10 am on Friday.
