A Victorian family returning its working farm to native wetlands has released recently re-discovered fish into the marsh. The purple-spotted gudgeon fish was believed to be extinct until earlier this year. The farm at Loddon Vale is on a flood plain and is part of the Murray Goulburn irrigation system
