Bored of having the same plain old chai-biscuit? Step up your evening tea game with Junior Chefs Michelle and Rachel's delicious Flapjack Biscuits recipe. Have it on the side or dip it in, it's a treat both ways!

Ingredients:

Butter - 100 gm
Self-raising flour - 100 gm
Golden syrup - 100 gm
Oats - 100gm
Mixed fruits - 100gm

Method:

1)In a large mixing bowl put 100gms of self raising flour,100gms of rolled oats, 100gms of butter, 100gms of golden syrup and 100gms of mixed dry fruits.

2) Mix the mixture until fully combined.

3)Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper and rub with olive oil.

4)Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

5)Transfer the mixture to the lined tin, flattening to the edges. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden.

6)Remove from the oven, slice into squares, and leave to cool in the tin for 5 minutes.

7)Use the paper to lift out on to a wire rack, and leave to cool completely.

8)Enjoy!! Simple, easy, delicious flapjacks!
