India reports 8,774 new Covid-19 infections, 621 fatalities in a day

India reported 8,774 new Covid-19 cases and 621 fatalities in the last 24 hours. The death toll stands at 4,68,554. The country also reported 9,481 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery rate at 98.34 per cent. So far, 1,21,94,71,134 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered.
