Schools shut in over 20 Tamil Nadu districts; IMD predicts heavy rainfall

Schools will remain shut in over 20 districts of Tamil Nadu even as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy to very heavy rain in parts of the state.
The IMD said that thunderstorms with heavy to very heavy rain are likely to occur over isolated places in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and Thenkasi districts of Tamil Nadu on Friday.
