Severe flooding continues across Asia killing dozens and displacing thousands

Multiple countries across Asia have been hit by severe flooding caused by several weeks of torrential rain since early November 2021. In Thailand’s southern province of Chumphon, floods starting on November 12 killed at least two people and disrupted the lives of nearly 5,000 others.
