'Ice rink transforms into teddy bear turf as fans toss thousands of stuffed toys onto the ice '
'This was the delightful moment a hockey game was stopped for about 40 minutes as the ice surface started filling with teddy bears, which were being thrown by fans from all directions.

"The teddy bear toss game highlights the Hershey Bears' (AHL) community involvement," the filmer, Charles Stoessel explained. "When the Bears score their first goal of the game, fans rain stuffed animals onto the ice, which are donated to various charities as gifts to needy children over the holiday season.

"In December 2018, the Bears established a world record with more than 34,000 bears tossed onto the ice. In December 2019, they broke that record with over 45,000 stuffed animals tossed onto the ice in a single game."
