'The Teddy Bear Toss season was in full swing in December 2019 and this amusing clip is proof of the same.

Footage taken by Melissa lam in the Scotiabank Saddledome (Calgary, Canada) shows thousands of teddy bears and stuffed toys being thrown onto the ice following the Calgary Hitmen's first goal.

"The Teddy Bear Toss tradition continued this year, thanks to Calgary Hitmen," Melissa wrote. "Over 25,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice when the Hitmen scored their first goal. These toys were then delivered as presents to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

"I only got hit twice in the head while fans were throwing all their stuffed toys. It was so much fun for adults and kids alike!"
