Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday will be laying the foundation stone of the Noida International Airport at Jewar, which is expected to be operational by September 2024. The greenfield airport, spread over 1,330 acres of land, will entail an investment of Rs 8,914 crore.
Meanwhile, the farm laws issue refuses to die down, as farmers urge the government to accept their other long-standing demands, such as a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP). The peasants have refused to call of their agitation, saying their future course of action will be decided on November 27 in the wake of the Centre’s decision to repeal the three farm laws.
