Mahua Legalised By Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan As 'Heritage' Liquor

Madhya Pradesh is all set to legalise liquor made out of mahua. This drink will be sold as heritage liquor, said Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On November 22, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is getting a new excise policy in which the tribal community will be permitted to make traditional liquor from Mahua. Tribals will also be given the right to sell this liquor. Flowers of the Mahua tree are fermented to produce an alcoholic drink called Mahua. Watch the video to know more about the mahua drink.
