TMC vs BJP Tripura showdown spills over to Delhi; NIA arrests activist in Srinagar; more

A delegation of Trinamool Congress MPs reached Delhi and sat on a dharna outside the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday over the alleged violence in Tripura. The MPs raised slogans against the home minister and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded an appointment with Amit Shah. Soon after, Amit Shah met the MPs and assured them of justice. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out raids at multiple locations in Srinagar city in connection with the Jammu Kashmir (J K) terror-funding case and arrested prominent human rights activist Khurram Parvez, ANI reported.
