Taliwas sa batas kaya pinababawi ng mga petitioner ang extension na ibinigay ng Comelec kay presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos para sagutin ang mga nakahaing disqualification at pagpapabasura ng kaniyang inihaing certificate of candidacy. Inabuso rin daw ng Comelec ang kapangyarihan nito ng bigyan ng extension si Marcos.
