Jai Bhim director apologises after PMK alleged film tarnished image of Vanniyar community

Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel extended an apology after Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) alleged that certain scenes in the film tarnished the image of the Vanniyar community. In a detailed statement written in Tamil, Gnanavel said that it was never his intention to defame a particular community. He also added that it is unfair for people to blame Suriya for the controversy.
