Pugh returns to Kent waters after record-breaking swim

Environment secretary Michael Gove has said that Kent desperately needs to make sure its waters are saved from pollution.

He joined others in Dover today as pollution campaigner Lewis Pugh finished his world record-breaking swim. Pugh swam 330 miles along the English Channel from Land's End to the White Cliffs.

The UN Ocean's ambassador had previously called on the government to do more to tackle pollution on Kent's coastlines.
