Cannabis use no higher in countries with liberal drug laws, research says

Research by the University of Kent has found there is no evidence that teenage cannabis use is higher in countries with more liberal drug laws.

The global study of 100,000 young people suggests they pay little attention to the law when chosing whether or not to take the drug.

Professor Alex Stevens from the University of Kent, who conducted the research, joined us in our Canterbury studio.
