A priceless piece on Saxon jewellery has been found in Herne Bay by a couple with a passion for metal detecting.

Rachel Carter and Ricky Schubert had been out on a private search when they discovered the gold pendant.

Mystery still surrounds the history behind it, expert believe that it was a coin from the end of the sixth century.
