Gold bars and designer watches worth almost £1m have been seized by Kent Police, as part of a major investigation into money laundering.
A 55 year old man has been sent to prison after detectives raided his room at a London hotel.
The haul also included foreign coins and hundreds of lottery tickets but police say the are still piecing together how he came across the cash.
