Father and son sentenced for Kent slavery ring

A father and son living in Dover have been sent to prison for more than a decade after being found guilty of modern slavery offences.

Petr and Mario Makula paid their workers a mere £5 a week and forced them to live in unbearable conditions.

The duo were sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court today.
