Kent County Council pledge to become carbon neutral by 2030

Kent County Council has committed to plans to become carbon neutral by 2030 - 20 years earlier than the government's target.

The authority say by investing in renewable energy at their County Hall headquarters and shifting to electric vehicles, they will be able to accelerate to net zero.

But the leader of the opposition is sceptical they'll meet their green goal.
