The media has taken a hit according to one journalism lecturer due to the BBC's conduct surrounding Princess Diana's 1995 interview

A journalism lecturer from the University of Kent fears trust in the media has taken a massive hit following report findings into the BBC's interview with Princess Diana in 1995.

It found the Princess of Wales had been mislead into giving an interview where she revealed details about her marriage to Prince Charles.
