Prime Minister Narendra Modi is heading to Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh today, where he will launch infrastructure and development projects worth Rs 6,300 crore.
Meanwhile, campaigning for the UP assembly polls heated up after Akhilesh Yadav hurled a ‘chillumjeevi’ barb at chief minister Yogi Adityanath. The remark has sadhus up in arms and demanding an apology from the Samajwadi party president.
Down south, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain at isolated places in Chennai and has issued an orange alert for possible rainfall in the range of 12cm to 20cm on Friday.
