'Merritt, BC was recently thrashed by torrential rain, resulting in highways, roads, houses, and vehicles getting submerged in floodwaters.
This catastrophic video, filmed by Jared Thomas, gives a glimpse of the destruction caused by the rising water levels.
"This footage was taken from our doorbell cam as we watched floodwaters taking over the street in front of our home, knowing that if the waters rose past our deck, the inside of our home would be destroyed," Jared discussed.
This distressing scene was shot on November 15, 2021.
