PM Modi to inaugurate Purvanchal Expressway; SC directs Centre to hold meeting on pollution; more

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Puravanchal Expressway on Tuesday, which he said will "bring with it multiple benefits for UP’s economic and social progress.” The 341-kilometre-long expressway will reduce the travel time between Lucknow to Buxar in Bihar from seven hours to nearly four hours.

And, The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Centre to hold an emergency meeting to chalk out a strategy to control the persistent air pollution in the national capital, Delhi.
