Kerala Under Heavy Rainfall Warning, Several Districts Flooded

On November 14, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) declared a red alert in three Kerala districts. An orange alert was issued in six other districts. Heavy rains have battered many parts of Kerala and even the neighbouring Tamil Nadu. The weather department issued a red alert in Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur. Orange alert was sounded in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam & Alappuzha. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan chaired a high-level meeting on November 14 to discuss the situation in the state. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “Please take care and follow all safety guidelines.” Watch the video to know more.
