President Ram Nath Kovind honored sportspersons with sports awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Saturday. 12 players including Neeraj Chopra, who won the gold medal for India in Tokyo Olympics 2020 and female cricketer Mithali Raj, have been awarded the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने शनिवार को नई दिल्ली राष्ट्रपति भवन में खिलाड़ियों को खेल अवॉर्ड्स से सम्मानित किया. टोक्यो ओलंपिक 2020 में भारत के लिए गोल्ड मेडल जीतने वाले नीरज चोपड़ा (Neeraj Chopra) और महिला क्रिकेटर मिताली राज (Mitali Raj) समेत 12 खिलाड़ियों को मेजर ध्यानचंद खेल रत्न अवॉर्ड (Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award) से नवाज़ा गया है. खेल रत्न मिलने के बाद नीरज चोपड़ा ने कहा है कि अच्छा लग रहा है कि भारत का खेल का सबसे बड़ा पुरस्कार मिला है। आगे के लिए ट्रेनिंग शुरू कर दी है। अगले साल वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप के लिए तैयारी करेंगे
