Nyrstar to build product recycling facility to reduce lead emissions in Port Pirie

The State Government has announced a major upgrade of processing facilities at the Port Pirie smelter aimed at reducing airborne lead levels. Lead levels remain a persistent problem in the town, two years after a rebuild of the plant, which was supposed to deliver major reductions.
