Concerns for Aboriginal children going without mental health care

Some of Australia's most vulnerable Aboriginal children no longer have mental health specialists living and working in their communities - a move one psychiatrist says sets the welfare and safety of children back at least a decade. Nearly a thousand reports of child abuse have been made in the Apy Lands region in the past two years alone.
