DMK, AIADMK at loggerheads over waterlogging woes in Chennai

A war of words has erupted between the ruling DMK and the main Opposition, AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, over waterlogging woes in Chennai. Chief Minister MK Stalin accused the previous government led by K Palaniswami of inaction and 'corruption' for waterlogging and announced a Commission of Inquiry to look into the matter. The AIADMK accused the DMK government of not taking preventive measures to prevent the deluge.
