Centre declares Nov 15 as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'

Central Government declared November 15 as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas', to mark the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.“Union Cabinet approves declaration of 15th Nov, the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'.

Week-long celebrations planned from 15-22 Nov 2021 to celebrate and commemorate the glorious history of tribal people, culture and achievements,” said Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur.
