TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu told media, “Petrol and diesel prices are very high in Andhra Pradesh. Even the neighbouring states are putting up boards (announcing a reduction in VAT on petrol and diesel). It is a very bad situation. We demand the government to reduce petrol and diesel prices. You promise during elections that the prices will be the lowest in the country. Now, it is the highest. You have to reduce the petrol and diesel by Rs 17 each to bring it at par with other states. Otherwise, we'll agitate and teach them a lesson.”
