Govt announces $500m for emerging clean energy technology

The government is promising half a billion dollars for investment in emerging technologies today, hoping the Clean Energy Finance Corporation can manage the fund. Matt Kean is the NSW Treasurer and Minister for Energy and Environment – he says the government should invest in such technologies, rather than ‘discredited’ technologies of the past.
