A special tunnel is being built at the China border in Arunachal Pradesh to ease the movement of troops and arms. The tunnel is named as the Sela Tunnel, which is being built at Nuranang and is important to connect Tawang with other parts of the country, opens throughout the year. The construction of this tunnel is located at an altitude of about 13,500 feet. The main objective is that tunnel will help soldiers and weapons to reach the Line of Actual Control between China and India easily. The tunnel passes through the Sela Pass and is expected to reduce the distance from Tawang to the China border by 10 km. Watch this video.
