Special NCB team to reach Mumbai to take over Drugs case

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau reached Mumbai from Delhi on Saturday to take over six earlier cases investigated by the Mumbai unit headed by zonal director Sameer Wankhede. The NCB said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising officers from the Operations Branch of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Headquarters had been constituted by the Director-General, NCB to take over 6 cases from NCB Mumbai Zonal Unit which have national. Sanjay Kumar Singh, the 1996 batch IPS officer and Deputy Director General (DDG) of NCB, is heading the SIT which has been tasked to take over the cases including the cruise drug, in which superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested on October 3.
