42 dead in Bihar after consuming suspected spurious liquor

In the last 15 days, at least 42 people have died and several others fell ill after consuming suspected spurious liquor in Bihar, where total prohibition is in place. Eight persons died on Thursday after allegedly consuming hooch in Telhua village at Bettiah. Nitish Kumar said- the ban on alcohol is in the interest of society.
