Petrol Diesel Price: 14 राज्यों ने नहीं घटाया VAT, Ladakh में सबसे ज्यादा कटौती | वनइंडिया हिंदी

After the central government cut the excise duty on petrol and diesel, the state governments are also competing to reduce VAT. So far, about 22 states and union territories have cut VAT, but there are 14 such states and union territories, the states where VAT has not been cut are all non-BJP ruled states. There is political opposition behind not reducing VAT.

केंद्र सरकार (Centre Govt) के पेट्रोल डीजल (Petrol Diesel Price) पर एक्साइज ड्यूटी में कटौती करने के बाद राज्य सरकारों में भी वैट घटाने की होड़ लगी है. अभी तक करीब 22 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों ने वैट (VAT on Diesel Petrol) में कटौती की है, लेकिन 14 ऐसे राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश हैं, जिन राज्यों में वैट में कटौती नहीं की गई है वो सभी गैर बीजेपी शासित राज्य है. वैट नहीं घटाने के पीछे राजनीतिक विरोध है.
