Former Pakistan bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan told ESPNcricinfo that while playing for Yorkshire, he had heard former England captain Michael Vaughan abusing racist players against Asian-origin players. In the 2009 season, Naved was a foreign professional player for Yorkshire and was with Azim Rafiq. During that time there were a total of four players of Asian origin in Yorkshire's team, including Naved and Azim.
