Suraksha Kawach of Maa Bharti: PM Modi to soldiers in J&K's Nowshera

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met Army troops in Jammu Kashmir’s Nowshera district on the occasion of Diwali.
“Our soldiers are the ‘suraksha kawach’ of ‘Maa Bharti’. It is because of you all that people of our country can sleep peacefully and there is happiness during festivals,” PM Modi said on his second Diwali with the soldiers in the border district since 2019.
“I wanted to spend Diwali with family members, so I joined you at the festival,” the prime minister added.
