Celebration in India means lights and celebration, that's why not only Diwali, be it marriage, New Year's celebration or any other occasion, there is light and firecrackers. By the way, burning stubble in the fields around Diwali is also a major cause of pollution. The smoke emanating from firecrackers mixes with the stubble smoke making it more poisonous. For this reason, the voice of the ban on firecrackers was raised, on which the Supreme Court had banned the firecrackers containing dangerous chemicals. After this permission was given to burn green firecrackers in 2019 but this year it has also been banned. After the ban on common firecrackers, the green crackers that came into the market were the gift of NEERI. The institute prepared firecrackers with the help of some such chemicals, which reduces smoke. Watch this video.
