Despite opposition regarding centralisation of education and the fear of a decrease in cultural diversity, the BJP government in Karnataka has gone forward with the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in the state. In an exclusive interview with The Quint, state education minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan answers questions that were earlier posed by NEP critics.
