Sameer Wankhede, zonal director of the Mumbai unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), met with National Commission for Scheduled Caste in New Delhi on Monday. Sameer Wankhede's meeting with the NSCS chairman follows after Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party leader Nawab Malik alleged that the NCB officer is a Muslim who forged his caste certificate in order to qualify for the civil services under the Scheduled Caste quota.
