As A Way To Support The Government's 10% Resolution Of Planting 2 Billion Trees By 2022, Residents Of Busikaira In Butere Constituency Of Kakamega County Have Come Forward To Plant 5,000 Trees ,In Five Schools And Four Hospitals In The County. Led By Boniface Ngashira, The Residents Said Were Disturbed By The Large Scale Of Tree Cutting In The Country At Wide Especially During This Drought Season Prompting Them To Take Responsibility For Starting The Project In Schools And Hospitals. The Residents Also Urged Others To Come And Join The Tree Planting Exercise Not Only In The Kakamega Forest But Also In Other Areas To Prevent The Spread Of Diseases Caused By The Presence Of Polluted Air.
