Has India fulfilled the promises to fight Global Warming

The United Nations says that if global warming has to decrease by 1.5 degrees, then by the year 2050, the use of coal will have to be completely stopped. India has not given any deadline to completely eliminate power generation from coal. But India still stands and is working continuously on the promises that it had made to the world in the 2015 Paris Agreement in the war against global warming.
