India vs England: Don't Write Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara Off, Says Virat Kohli

After the Indian cricket team suffered a 227-run defeat in the first Test against England at Chennai's Chepauk Stadium on February 9, skipper Virat Kohli said Joe Root's team was clearly the better side but India were good enough to bounce back in the four-match series. Saying India's batting was not good enough in the first innings, Kohli defended Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara saying both top-order batsmen were crucial members in the Test scheme of things. Kohli said personal milestones were not important and the team was more focused on winning and playing good cricket. The second Test starts in Chennai on February 13. (Video and photos: BCCI)
